Background

Populous is a quarterly magazine that highlights the problematic effects of human pollution. The focus of this issue is garbage, more specifically our garbage. Each issue takes readers on a journey across the planet and invites them to learn about the negative consequences of garbage pollution.

Challenge

Conceptualize a magazine brand. Bring the concept to life through branding, curate content based on audience, and design feature layouts, photography and illustration.

Solution

Using eye-catching imagery and bold typography that pulls the reader into the article. Selecting content that empowers readers and using bright playful illustration to uplift the sobering reality of the content.
